This Privacy Policy describes how BOO! by 815 Media, LLC ("BOO!", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information from visitors, attraction owners, partners, and registered members who dare to explore our haunted network.
1. What We Collect

- 🖼️User Images: Photos submitted for galleries or attraction listings, including any captions or metadata you provide. Images are reviewed and approved by admins before appearing live.
- 🗳️Votes & Reactions: Photo votes, ratings, or other engagement signals tied to your account or device to deter duplicate voting.
- 🏚️Attraction Details: Venue names, addresses, contact info, operating schedules, ticket links, safety notes, and descriptions submitted by owners, staff, or fans.
- 🕸️Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device info, and anonymized usage analytics collected through standard server logs and first-party analytics to keep the cobwebs clear.
2. How We Use Your Information

BOO! currently relies on essential cookies and local storage for authentication sessions, partner dashboards, and rate-limit protection. We do not run third-party ad tracking. Partners embedding our widgets agree to maintain our UTM parameters and respect visitor privacy.
5. Data Retention
We retain account data, attraction records, and approved images while your account is active or as needed to deliver services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request account deletion, and we will remove or anonymize associated personal data where feasible while preserving essential attraction records.
6. Security
We use secure hosting, TLS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information. Despite our best wards and charms, no system is perfectly ghost-proof. Please use strong passwords and report suspicious activity.
7. Your Choices

- 🚫Opt out of partner promotions by managing notifications in your profile or unsubscribing from emails.
8. International Visitors
BOO! is based in the United States. If you visit from other regions, your information will be transferred and processed in the U.S. We aim to honor international privacy expectations while operating under U.S. law.
9. Children
Our content is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered without consent, contact us for removal.
